Little is known about his early life, but his year of birth is given as 992. He traveled to India and Nepal, learned Sanskrit, and then studied grammar, epistemology, writing, astrology, and tantra. In Tibet and Nepal, he translated nearly seventy tantric texts with South Asian Buddhist masters such as Gayādhara, Prajñendraruci, also known as Viravajra, the Ceylonese yogini Candramāla, Ratnavajra, Ratnaśrīimitra and possibly Prajñāgupta as well. His two most important teachers were Gayadhāra and Prajñendraruci under whom he studied the Lamdre (lam 'bras) teachings, and the Hevajra Tantra together with its explanatory tantras, the Vajrapanjara and Samputa, collectively known as the Kyedor Gyusum (kye rdor rgyud gsum). In Tibet he is said to have taught Sanskrit to Marpa Chokyi Lodro (mar pa chos kyi blo gros, 1002/1012-1097). He stayed at the Mugulung cave complex (mu gu lung) with his students and his consort Lhachamchik (lha lcam gcig), also known as Dzeden Wochak (mdzes ldan 'od chags), a princess of Lhatse (lha rtse). https://treasuryoflives.org/biographies/view/Drokmi-sakya-Yeshe/5615 992/993 1043/1072 2025-06-13T19:40:33Z 2460840.3198264 2025-06-13T19:40:33Z 2460840.3198264 true 'brog mi lo tsA ba 0 1 template 3 WorkAuthor::'brog mi lo tsA ba 'brog mi lo tsA ba# QUERY4d730197cd7904b502436a070934182e 0 0 count 2 'brog mi lo tsA ba# QUERY702bfd25a0cb7386f02a60f8ef7639d7 0 200 0 template 2 'brog mi lo tsA ba# QUERYd73bce55e70433dc803480a1d3c828b3 འབྲོག་མི་ལོ་ཙཱ་བས་མཁས་པ་སྒོ་དྲུག་ལ་གསན་པའི་སྒོ་དྲུག་ཆོས་འབྲེལ་དུ་གྲགས་པའི་ཁྲིད་ཡིག། 0 en འབྲོག་མི་ལོ་ཙཱ་བས་མཁས་པ་སྒོ་དྲུག་ལ་གསན་པའི་སྒོ་དྲུག་ཆོས་འབྲེལ་དུ་གྲགས་པའི་ཁྲིད་ཡིག། ངག་དབང་གྲགས་པའི་གཉུག་མ་དྲན་གསལ། 0 en ངག་དབང་གྲགས་པའི་གཉུག་མ་དྲན་གསལ། དཔལ་ནཱ་རོ་པའི་ཕྱག་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གསུམ་སེལ། 0 en དཔལ་ནཱ་རོ་པའི་ཕྱག་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གསུམ་སེལ། མདོ་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་དོན་ཉམས་སུ་ལོངས་གསུངས། 0 en མདོ་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་དོན་ཉམས་སུ་ལོངས་གསུངས། ཤེས་རབ་འབྱུང་གནས་སྦས་པ། ཛྙཱ་ན་ཤྲཱི། རིན་ཆེན་རྡོ་རྗེ་གསུམ་གྱི་བར་ཆད་གསུམ་སེལ། 0 en ཤེས་རབ་འབྱུང་གནས་སྦས་པ། ཛྙཱ་ན་ཤྲཱི། རིན་ཆེན་རྡོ་རྗེ་གསུམ་གྱི་བར་ཆད་གསུམ་སེལ། Sourceauthor 102 en Sourceauthor WorkAuthor 102 en WorkAuthor
