A student of Sharchen Yeshe Gyeltsen and Buddhaśrī, he played an important role in the revitalization of the Sakya tradition following the collapse of Yuan patronage, with the establishment of Ngor Monastery in 1429, and the cultivation of support from Mustang and the Rinpung family in Shigatse. He famously engaged in a polemical debate with Khedrubje over the authenticity of the Sakya Hevajra teachings. Among his disciples were Muchen Sempa Chenpo, Gorampa Sonam Sengge, and Shākya Chokden. https://treasuryoflives.org/biographies/view/Ngorchen-Kunga-Zangpo/2387 1382 1456 2025-06-13T19:50:06Z 2460840.3264583 2025-06-13T19:50:06Z 2460840.3264583 true Ngor mkhan chen, 1st 0 1 template 3 [[Category:Tibetan Collections]] [[WorkAuthor::Ngor mkhan chen, 1st]] Ngor mkhan chen, 1st# QUERYec2ffdce44fecc2f20e38734e20f3003 0 0 count 2 [[Category:Tibetan Texts]] [[Category:Ngor mkhan chen, 1st]] Ngor mkhan chen, 1st# QUERYa650b45f0769e89dcd08192a74afca5b 0 200 0 template 2 [[Category:Tibetan Texts]] [[Category:Ngor mkhan chen, 1st]] Ngor mkhan chen, 1st# QUERY13ce5aec58560ca72fd9c183710e04b7 གཞུང་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དཀྲི་བའི་ཁྲིད་ཡིག་ཚིགས་བཅད་མ་རྒྱུད་གསུམ་ལམ་གྱི་རིམ་པའི་བསྡུས་དོན། 0 en གཞུང་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དཀྲི་བའི་ཁྲིད་ཡིག་ཚིགས་བཅད་མ་རྒྱུད་གསུམ་ལམ་གྱི་རིམ་པའི་བསྡུས་དོན། ཞེན་པ་བཞི་བྲལ་གྱི་བརྒྱུད་འདེབས། 0 en ཞེན་པ་བཞི་བྲལ་གྱི་བརྒྱུད་འདེབས། ལམ་སྐོར་ཕྱི་མ་བརྒྱད་ཀྱི་བརྒྱུད་པའི་གསོལ་འདེབས། 0 en ལམ་སྐོར་ཕྱི་མ་བརྒྱད་ཀྱི་བརྒྱུད་པའི་གསོལ་འདེབས། WorkAuthor 102 en WorkAuthor
