One of the group of students of Phadampa Sangye associated with his final visit to Tibet that are collectively known as the Four Gatekeeper Yogins (sgo ba'i rnal 'byor bzhi), each of which are associated with one of the cardinal directions. Tukse Kunga, often referred to as Kunga the Bodhisattva (byang chub sems dpa' kun dga'), is associated with the northern gate (byang sgo).

Project Description

The catalog, referred to as the "DNZ," is a database of information covering the eighteen volumes, plus an extra Karchag volume, of the 2024 edition of the Gdams ngag mdzod produced by Rigpe Dorje Publications, including detailed information about each text, such as size, location, lists of people associated with each text, lineage data, lists of translations available, and comparisons with previous catalogs. All colophons, text titles, and author names are recorded in both Extended Wylie and Unicode Tibetan.
