The DNZ is a work in progress. The Tibetan on DNZ wiki is based on the 2024 edition produced by Rigpe Dorje Publications, which at times differs from previous editions of the Gdams ngag mdzod. The order of texts and contents of individual volumes may not correspond directly with the translations produced in the books of The Treasury of Precious Instructions, a Tsadra Foundations Series published with Shambhala Publications. If you need help finding a specific text either in Tibetan on this site or locating an English translation of a text in the books of The Treasury of Precious Instructions, we would be happy to assist you.

Project Description

The catalog, referred to as the "DNZ," is a database of information covering the eighteen volumes, plus an extra Karchag volume, of the 2024 edition of the Gdams ngag mdzod produced by Rigpe Dorje Publications, including detailed information about each text, such as size, location, lists of people associated with each text, lineage data, lists of translations available, and comparisons with previous catalogs. All colophons, text titles, and author names are recorded in both Extended Wylie and Unicode Tibetan.
